Today I had to source some props for Esquire magazine. Went to a bunch of different warehouses on my search. I want to live in a prop store. Amazing, divine, wacky things.

BRIEF: Creae a book that tels a story through the design of the book and content. I decided to do moustache growth in a flip book seeing as its is Movember/Decembeard. (Movember is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men’s health.) So i did a flip book when brushed quickly looks as if the man is growing a moustache – here it is.

Anna Wintour, Natalie Portman and John Galliano hosted the re-opening of his new Dior boutique on 57th Street (Weds 7th). I worked on the set which had a christmas-y, vintage boutique feel. Disposable camera pictures, dont really show the magic- heres the idea. Stressful, fun.

BRIEF: Create a book as you like. I made a typography book, cutting each letter of the alphabet out from a different type face. When looking down on the book you see a nice stack of different shapes.

Went to Dia:Beacon, the museum for the Dia Art Foundation’s collection of art from the 1960s to the present. The museum has 40,000 square feet of exhibition space, sited on thirty-one acres on the banks of the Hudson River NY. Each artists (such as Warhol and Richard Serra) hav their own exhibition space, designed exactly as they (would have) wanted. Pretty spectacular.
